New Property Tax Assessments Cause Worry

Property tax assessments were released on Friday, and low-income and up-and-coming neighborhoods could see the largest increase, according to the Philadelphia City Controller. Mayor Michael Nutter says there were flaws in the assessments up until now and many homeowners were either paying too much or too little. NBC10’s Katy Zachry reports the details.
