NBC10 @Issue: Domestic Violence Victims Share Their Stories

Two domestic violence victims Rayna Gray and Taymee Alamo share their stories and what led them to finally leave the harmful relationships they were involved in. Many women, including Gray, have been helped by Philadelphia’s Lutheran Settlement House which provides counseling and resources to victims of domestic violence. To raise awareness about domestic violence and celebrate its survivors, the Lutheran Settlement House is hosting a Women of Courage awards ceremony and breakfast on Friday, April 24 at 8:30 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Center City.
