Data shows significant drop in homicides in Philly so far in 2024

New data from Philadelphia police shows a 35 percent drop in homicides in the city in 2024 compared to the same time last year. However, while encouraged by the numbers, community leaders say more work needs to be done as the summer — a time in which violence commonly rises — approaches. NBC10’s Rosemary Connors has the story.
