An Ocean County man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his stepfather to death, according to the Patch.
Police say it happened at a home in the Lions Head Woods retirement community in Lakewood, NJ on Sunday.
Victor DiDonato, 93, was found dead inside his kitchen with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen around 2:31 p.m.
Police say that DiDonato’s stepson, Albert Dressler, 67, of Brick, NJ, fled his stepfather’s home in a Buick LaCrosse sedan. He was captured by police and taken into custody at 2:48 p.m., according to the Patch.
Dressler is charged with murder and is being held in the Ocean County Jail on $1 million bail with no option to post 10 percent, according to the Asbury Park Press.
There is no word yet on Dressler’s motive behind the alleged murder.
