Camden Man Posts Bail With Bogus Money

Cops didn’t have to go far to find suspect who used fake cash to post bail...he returned, demanding a refund

A New Jersey man who was charged with shoplifting posted his own bail with counterfit $20s...and then returned to demand a refund, reported the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Ronald White, a 25-year-old man from Camden, was arrested on July 7 for shoplifting in Cinnaminson.

He paid his $400 bail in cash, well, real and counterfeit bills.

Realizing that the bills were fake, police went to look for White, but they didn’t have to go far.

He showed up at the station demanding a refund, claiming he overpaid on his bail.

White is now in a Burlington County jail, bring held on $5K bail.
