A teen boy, two women and two men were all injured in a mass shooting during a vigil for a Philadelphia homicide victim, police said. All five victims are in stable condition. Police said at least two gunmen were involved and continue to search for them. NBC10’s Leah Uko has the details.

A teen boy, two women and two men were all injured in a drive-by mass shooting during a vigil for a Philadelphia homicide victim, police said.

The victims were gathered on the 400 block of East Wyoming Avenue at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, officials said. They were attending a vigil for Orlando Negron, a 20-year-old man who had been killed in a shooting back on July 5 in Olney that also left a teen boy injured, according to investigators.

During Tuesday night's vigil, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee made a left turn from D. Street onto Wyoming Avenue. As it turned, multiple shots were fired from the vehicle, police said.

During the incident, a 68-year-old man was shot twice in the face, a 17-year-old boy was shot once in the leg, a 24-year-old woman was shot once in the ankle, a 23-year-old man was shot once in the thigh and a 23-year-old woman was shot once in the shin, according to investigators.

Video obtained by Telemundo 62 shows Tuesday night's mass shooting that left five people injured during a vigil for a Philadelphia homicide victim.

All of the victims were taken to the hospital and are all currently in stable condition, police said.

The white Jeep Cherokee was later found unoccupied along the 5000 block of North 5th Street, according to investigators. Police said three handguns were found inside of the vehicle, one of which was a ghost gun.

Law enforcement officials are now searching for three gunmen in connection to the shooting. One man was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans; a second man was wearing a white t-shirt and a green or blue hat; and a third man was wearing all black clothing and has dreadlocks or braids, according to investigators.

"It's unfortunate while there are those out grieving and mourning the loss of people that they may or may not have known, that there was a safety issue," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said.

This incident occurred a little more than two weeks after another mass shooting in Philadelphia left five people, including a teenager, dead and two children injured.

Entering Wednesday, there were at least 234 homicides reported so far this year in Philadelphia, according to data released by Philadelphia police.

That's down 22% from the same time last year, but still on pace to be one of the deadliest years since data began being tabulated in 2007.
