New Philly Exhibit Plays Homage to Black Past, Looks to Future

A new exhibition in Philadelphia is aiming to connect the earliest African Americans with the future. “From Negro Pasts to Afro Futures” director Deidre Cooper Owens and Micheal Barsanti from the Library Company of Philadelphia explain the significance of the artifacts showcased in the unique exhibit.
