‘Suspicious' Fire Destroys Bensalem Police Cruiser

An investigation is underway

Police in Bensalem appear to be the target of arson after a police cruiser was set on fire outside their headquarters in Bucks County.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the lot at the municipal building at 2400 Byberry Road.

Police say an employee car in the parking lot caught on fire from the burning police cruiser. Both vehicles were destroyed.

Police call the fire suspicious and an investigation is underway.
