The Chef, The Brewer, and The Farmer

Philly Beer Week has just raised the stakes of the traditional beer dinner with the announcement of a new series called "The Chef, The Brewer, and The Farmer," which will take place at six of Philly's premier restaurants from June 5 until June 12. This new initative looks to be the ultimate experience for food-obsessed locavores, combining Philly's greatest cooks with our unmatched craft-brewing scene, and adding another layer of artisanal focus with the local farmers who provide ingredients to both chefs and brewmasters.

The lineup is absolutely killer, and includes folks like Marc Vetri (Vetri), Jose Garces (Amada), Jeff Michaud (Osteria), Scott Schroeder (South Philadelphia Taproom), Bill Covaleski (Victory Brewing), Casey Hughes (Flying Fish), Carol Stoudt (Stoudt's Brewing), Brian O'Reilly (Sly Fox Brewing), and Tom Kehoe (Yards Brewing).
