With only 10 contestants remaining, "The Voice" action was red hot Monday night as some very special guest mentors stopped by.
Diana Ross, Colbie Caillat, Patrick Stump and Christina Aguilera were all on hand to lend their talents and encouragement to the final 10. The result was a live performances show to remember:
Group Performance
The top 10 kicked off the evening with a performance of some of Rascal Flatt's biggest hits. The girls got the ball rolling with "Bless the Broken Road" before the boys joined in with "Chimed."
TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
U.S. & World
Stories that affect your life across the U.S. and around the world.
Matt McAndrew
Team Adam mentor Patrick Stump (from Fall Out Boy) chose Coldplay’s "Fix You" for McAndrew and instructed the singer to take the song to the audience. Pharrell praised the performance by saying he thinks rock stations should be playing all of Matt’s tunes.
Anita Antoinette
Coached by Gwen and mentor Aguilera, Antoinette tackled Passenger’s "Let Her Go," imbuing the song with a rocksteady/reggae vibe. Coach Gwen revealed that her son Kingston has picked Antoinette as his favorite this season.
Damien
Adam chose "You and I" by Stevie Wonder for Damien to perform, saying he wouldn’t have given it to Damien if he didn’t think he could do it, but he feels like the song was made for him.
Reagan James
After duetting with mentor Colbie Caillat on Colbie’s song, "Try," Reagan mixed things up by performing her own take on "Fancy," by Iggy Azalea.
Luke Wade
After forgetting his song lyrics last week, Wade was out to show audiences why he deserves a place in the Top 10. Working with Diana Ross, Coach Pharrell chose Otis Redding’s "Try a Little Tenderness" for Wade.
Craig Wayne Boyd
Coach Blake chose Johnny Cash’s "I Walk the Line" for Boyd, but in the form of a ballad. His coach warned the country hopeful to build his performance and to not wait until the end of the song to really let go.
Ryan Sill
Woking with Coach Gwen and mentor Aguilera, Sill stayed on the rock bent he succeeded with last week. His coach chose "Starlight" by Muse.
DaNica Shirey
Shirey told legendary music producer Clive Davis, her mentor, that she is such a fan she wrote a report about him in high school. Shirey tackled the Whitney Houston hit "I Have Nothing."
Taylor John Williams
Much to Coach Gwen's concern, Williams came to rehearsals with idea of performing The Beatles’ "Come Together." After workshopping the song with mentor Aguilera, he turned in a bigger, grittier performance than in the past. Hat tip to Shelton for giving the audience grief over their inability to clap on rhythm.
Chris Jamison
Team Adam’s Jamison tackled "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars. Mentor Stump and Coach Adam worked on building Jamison's swagger and charisma for the performance.
