    Get Your Pink On: Nonprofit group, the Cairdeas Irish Brigade, will host “Get Your Pink On,” a benefit to help support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Held at Paddy Whacks on South Street this Saturday, the benefit will include beer, wine, food and music by pop-rock group, Deez Two Guyz. A $25 donation will be collected at the door to help the one-in-eight women diagnosed with the disease and the millions who suffer everyday. Bring a friend and help support breast cancer tonight.     Live Music: New wave, electro, post-punk and post-rock hit the stage this Saturday at the Green Line Café. The University City spot will showcase rock group Faux Slang and electro acts Stephan Bluhm and Some Pepper. Have a drink, sample something from their menu, relax with your friends and enjoy the melodramatic and alternative sounds coming from the stage. Plus, if you order anything on the café’s site over $25, you’ll get a free CD featuring all Green Line local and national independent musicians.     Carnival: If you can’t afford a trip to Brazil, then head to Rum Bar this Saturday as they celebrate Carnival. The annual Brazilian festival features a parade of costumes, music, food, drinks and more. The festival usually happens around the time Christians and Catholics celebrate Lent and with the holiday fast approaching, we see no reason not to celebrate a little early here in Philly. Rum Bar will be filled with samba dancers shaking their hips and drink specials all night. Learn the moves of the latin lovers and prep for your next big trip.     Glenn Bryan with Reference Point: What better way to wind your weekend down than with some soothing R&B and classic jazz? With over 30 years experience, hear Glenn Bryan with Reference Point break it down at World Café Live. Bryan, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, has studied the art of music all his life and is classically trained on piano, organ and keyboards.     Soul Comedy: This Sunday night head to the River Room in Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant for the fourth anniversary of soul comedy. Have a dinner, enjoy a beer from the microbrewery and hear five hilarious comedians as they tackle an array of topics. The event is hosted by TuRae from Live @ Gotham, 1st Amendment Stand-Up and The Royal Comedy Tour.
