Moses Malone and Dr. J will be on hand to kick it like it's 1983 again.

Clap your hands everybody as the Philadelphia 76ers take the Wachovia Spectrum floor once last time.

Friday night promises to be a special night full of memories for Philly sports fans. One last time (on the ongoing/never-ending goodbye to "America's Showplace") for fans to take in the sights, sounds and smells (cue the underground bathrooms) of the Spectrum.

Sixer alumni including Moses Malone and Julius Erving return from the 1983 championship team to reminiscence to their -- cue Bruce Springsteen -- glory days. (Thankfully we have those memories considering that the current Sixers don't look prone to make any championship memories anytime soon.)

But, Friday night against the Bulls is about the past memories not the future.

Heck this is the place where Elvis left the building, "The Hammer" beat down the competition, Wilt stilted the opponent and the Dead lived. This place deserves a great sendoff.

What's amazing is that a very limited number of tickets still remain for the game, according to Comcast-Spectacor. We checked it out and found some single $150 tickets still for sale.

In honor of this momentous day check out this old school jam that really emphasizes the Sixers glory day. At worse this jingle is good for a laugh.
