Woman Killed While House-Sitting in N.J. Identified

A 54-year-old woman who was shot and killed inside a South Jersey home where she was housing-sitting has been identified.

Police say Kathleen Korbel, of Grenloch, New Jersey, was shot and killed at a home on Mayflower Drive in Gloucester Township.

Korbel’s body was found inside the home around 5:00 p.m. Prosecutors say she had been shot multiple times.

Homicide investigators spent hours at the home searching for clues into her death.
