Sex Offender Assaults Teen During Driving Lesson: Police

Authorities have charged a registered sex offender in New Jersey of sexually assaulting a teen during a driving lesson.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says 42-year-old Jason Walsh of Bayville knew the 16-year-old girl.

Walsh is required to wear a GPS tracking device as a Tier 3 Megan's Law registrant. Police say they used that information to determine Walsh was at the location during the time and day where the girl reported the alleged incident took place.

Walsh is held on $150,000 bail.
