A sport utility vehicle struck a car parked along a Delaware beach road with such force it pushed it two and a half parking spots, said police.
After smashing into a 2014 Nissan Versa along the unit block of Maryland Avenue in Rehoboth Beach around early Sunday, the black SUV -- possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe -- drove off, said police.
A witness heard a loud bang around 2 a.m. then saw the SUV driving off but didn’t immediately tell police about the crash.
Rehoboth Police said that the SUV should have major damage to the passenger front. They asked anyone with information to contact investigators at 302-227-2577.
