Another Portuguese Man o' War Sighting at New Jersey Beach

Yet another Portuguese Man o' War was found along a Jersey Shore beach this weekend.

The baby man o' war was seen along the 60th Street beach in Ocean City, N.J. on Sunday afternoon by Kerri Laff.

"We notified the lifeguard. It was around 3:30 p.m.," said Laff. "He confirmed that it was a baby, and since it was a baby, it wouldn't hurt [us]."

Laff told NBC10 that she also contacted the wetlands and confirmed it as a Portuguese man o' war. They have been known to come ashore in New Jersey when northeasterly winds push the Gulf Stream on shore.

This is the latest in a series of man o' war sightings, beginning with a brightly-colored adult man o' war washing up along the shores of Harvey Cedars in Long Beach Island last week.

Officials noted that many more could potentially be coming to shores in a week or so.
