Philadelphia police shot at and chased a suspect who attempted to run over an officer Thursday evening, according to officials.
Police said it all played out after officers stopped a jeep near E and Clearfield Streets in Kensington. Police said the woman driver then rammed the police car, tried to run over an officer and took off.
She later crashed near Ann and Richmond Streets in Port Richmond.[[392830401, C]]
The incident happened around 9:30.
A Jeep could be seen tipped on its side under I-95, surrounded by police vehicles as SkyForce10 hovered over the crash scene.
No officers were injured and a woman was taken into custody.
Police said the jeep was stolen.
