A Philadelphia Police officer shot and killed an armed man during a chase that began around 2:00 a.m. Saturday, according to authorities.
The shooting happened on the 4600 block of Worth Street in the Frankford section of the city.
Police tell NBC10 the officer fired one shot that hit the suspect, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
A weapon from the suspect was recovered. Police haven't released the reason why the suspect was being chased.
