Firefighters responded to reports of heavy smoke in a vacant Philadelphia school building early Thursday morning.
Crews began battling several small fires in the old school located near the intersection of Germantown and Allegheny avenues in North Philly around 1 a.m. Thursday, according to authorities.
Officials said they rotated firefighters at the scene since the crews had to climb multiple flights of stairs to survey the property.
There are no reported injuries.
