Man Found Dead in Wissahickon Creek

Police are investigating the death of a man found lying face down in a stream in the East Falls section of the city.

Investigators say the body was found shortly after 2 p.m. in the Wissahickon Creek on Lincoln Drive and Ridge Avenue. He was pronounced dead at 2:18 p.m.

Police have not yet confirmed the man’s identity. They continue to investigate.
