Officials say a Pennsylvania man plunged to his death while taking a photo at Lehigh Gorge State Park in Jim Thorpe, Pa.

Rangers identified the man as 44-year-old Lee Mantz, of nearby Coaldale. Officials say Mantz fell about 30 feet into the Lehigh River around midday Sunday after he stopped to take a picture.

Park officials say Mantz was biking with his wife at the time of his fall. The Carbon County coroner's office pronounced him dead shortly before 1 p.m.
