Out of Control SUV Crashes Into New Jersey Laundromat

No injuries were reported when a driver lost control of her sport utility vehicle and crashed into a parked car in a strip mall parking lot, sending the car into a laundromat.

Fairview police say the accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday in the Little Maria Plaza.

The 53-year-old Ridgefield woman driving on Bergen Boulevard when she lost control of the SUV and entered the mall lot. The SUV soon struck the car, which was not occupied.

Authorities have not said what caused the woman to lose control of the SUV. She was cited for careless driving.

Inspectors checked the building and determined that it was structurally sound.
