Delaware County Father Goes Missing

The beloved man has not been seen since before Thanksgiving.

A Delaware County dad has been missing since the morning before Thanksgiving. William "Bill" Schwenger, 61, has salt and pepper hair and wears glasses. He was last seen on November 27 wearing a charcoal colored hoodie, brown quilted vest, blue jeans and white New Balance sneakers near Clifton Heights.

Schwenger's family started a Facebook page called Find Bill Schwenger. According to the page, the missing man is a father, grandfather and husband, and suffers from depression.

His daughter Melisa posted: "Trying to remain hopeful here. Each day gets harder and harder not having any answers. Thanks so much for not giving up on us or my Dad. Keep sharing and continue to all 911 for any possible sightings!"

Posts on the page describe potential sightings of Bill. The family remains optimistic he is out there in need of help, and they have contacted shelters and agencies to keep an eye out for him.

Denise Siefert-Cancellarich expressed her concern on the page's wall: "Was at the mall last night and couldn't help but look at every man that passed by hoping I would see your dad. I am praying he comes home to you soon."

Clifton Heights Police are seeking your help. If you see Schwenger, call 610-623-3242.
