A suspect is in custody after a woman was shot and killed inside her Delaware County home Sunday.
The unidentified gunman opened fire inside a home on the 1200 block of Saville Avenue in Eddystone at 5:30 p.m., striking the woman in the head. The woman died from her injuries. She has not yet been identified pending the notification of her family.
Police say the suspect is in custody though they have not yet released his or her identity. They also say the victim knew the suspect.
