Police arrested a woman who they say crashed into a liquor store while under the influence and then fled the scene.

Police say it happened Saturday around 3 a.m. A vehicle crashed into the Pa. Wine and Spirits store on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue and then fled the scene, according to investigators. When police arrived at the scene, they say they spotted the vehicle, a 1999 Gray Lexus RX300, at West Mount Pleasant and Lincoln Drive driving erratically and disregarding multiple red lights.

Police say the vehicle finally came to a stop at 500 Hortter Street. The driver, identified as Dovita Douglas, 28, was arrested and charged with DUI and Criminal Mischief.
