Police captured a suspect in the rape of a girl in North Philadelphia at a nearby convenience store parking.
Temple University and Philadelphia officers could be seen descending on a 7-Eleven parking lot at N Broad and Diamond streets around 4:30 a.m. Friday.
The sex assault of preteen occurred on nearby N Sydenham Street, Philadelphia police said.
Officers could be seen loading the shirtless suspect – referred to a known doer – into a police vehicle and planned to take him to the Special Victims Unit for questioning, police said.
