Caught With His Hand in the Tip Jar

A Newark, Del. man was arrested for putting his hand where it didn't belong.

He allegedly reached into a tip jar, stole five dollars and got into a fight with restaurant employees.

Christopher Mullikin, 23, was inside D & H Jamaican Cuisine on Tuesday night when an employee reportedly saw him reach into the tip jar to grab the dough, according to Delaware State Police.

After leaving the restaurant Mullikin was confronted by two employees. He began to argue, pulled out a knife and threatened the men.

Police arrived and arrested Mullikin. Bail was set at $36,000 cash.

Both the knife and the whole five bucks were recovered, said authorities.
