Police in New Castle County say they're investigating after a shooting that injured two people.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the unit block of South Street, according to police.
Investigators said a 34-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were in a parked vehicle when a suspect fired multiple shots at the car, striking both the man and the woman.
Both the man and the woman fled in the car. Police said the woman was taken in a private vehicle to a hospital.
The male was involved in a car crash and subsequently taken to the hospital. Police did not release information about the severity of their injuries or what may have led to the shooting.
