    The family of one of the victims of the Pier 34 collapse is holding a fundraiser to honor her memory.

    On May 18, 2000, the 92-year-old pier supporting Club Heat near Penn's Landing collapsed, injuring dozens who plunged into the Delaware River and killing three women: 25-year-old Deann White, 21-year-old Monica Rodriguez and 27-year-old Jeanne Ferraro.

    White's family is hosting a fundraiser for the Deanne White Scholarship Foundation at Ace Conference Center at 800 Ridge Pike in Lafayette Hill from noon until 5 p.m. The Legacy of Love event will include activities for children, basketball games and a barbecue. Tickets cost $10.
