    LOCALS ONLY: Jump-start your Memorial Day weekend down at Local 44 in West Philly.  Saturday through Monday, Local 44 presents Locals Only Beer Weekend where the only thing on tap will be Philadelphia area beers. Beers will range from Appalachain Broad Street Barleywine all the way down to Yards Smoked Polish Wheat. The twist is every beer will only be tapped once, so get there when it starts (11:30 pm) and stay late so you can experience it all.  To find out more about the beers on tap go to Local 44's website or call 215-222-7140.

    AS I DO MY TURN ON THE CAT WALK: Check out Rock & Soul Apparel Company’s 2009 collection “a.Q.A . ”  See a fashion show at the National Constitution Center. tU Phace will provide the music . Designer Reginald Lee will be on hand as well. The event starts at 7 p.m. and tickets will run between $25-$50.

    ROCK OUT: Alt-rockers (and local boys) MEWITHOUTYOU have a record release show tonight at the Troc. Doors open at 7  p.m. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Danielson  and Urban Sophisticates opening.
