Ben Simmons has been sick on the court recently. Now, he's just sick … literally.
The Sixers' star rookie has gastroenteritis and didn't participate in today's shootaround in Atlanta.
He's questionable for tonight's game.
Ben Simmons did not participate in shootaround...he has gastroenteritis and is currently getting fluids at the hotel. Questionable for tonight in Atlanta— Molly Sullivan (@MollySullivanTV) April 10, 2018
Simmons, 21, is fresh off of his first Eastern Conference Player of the Week Award after he averaged 18.5 points, 10 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game last week as he led the Sixers to a 4-0 record.
During the Sixers' 14-game win streak, dating back to March 15, Simmons has been masterful. He's averaged a triple-double during the streak.
