They're only slightly better than the Phillies on the diamond but they're way more fun to poke fun at off of it.
When Mr. Met isn't acting like a [eggplant emoji] to fans at CitiField, the team is busy producing bobbleheads that look like [eggplant emoji] to actually hand to fans. The first 15,000 fans at this Saturday's game with the Oakland Athletics will get a special treat.
As Deadspin points out, the Mets will giveaway this lovely Noah Syndergaard bobblehead that contains a hammer of strange design.
