Rumors that Reese and Jake have hit splitsville are for real, according to new reports.
When People first reported two weeks ago that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal had called it quits, reps for both stars denied it.
But sources insist to E! Online that the pair did break up two weeks ago and said the split is amicable.
Separately, a source described as “close to the couple” told PopEater’s Rob Shuter the pair had ended their relationship.
This time reps for either star have not commented on the reports.
"They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts," one of E!’s sources said. “When they were finally together, they talked it out and decided they're not going to be together anymore."
Another source said the relationship had “fizzled” out.

“There are no other people involved,” the source told E!. “The relationship just ended. It just fizzled. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese's kids."
