The Strapless iPod

It sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie. A man placed his iPod Nano on his wrist, and it stuck to his skin magnetically, without straps. 21-year-old Dave Hurban of Williamstown, Gloucester County, is a body peircer who implanted four piercings under his skin using a device called a dermal punch, with four tiny magnets on the outside of his skin. He put four more magnets on the back of his iPod Nano, and now he’s got a strapless wristwatch/media player. The Association of Professional Piercers, however, does not approve. The organization claims that what Hurban did is illegal and could lead to infection.
