WATCH: SEPTA Police Officer Saves Man Trapped in Burning Car in Philadelphia

In video provided by SEPTA, a transit police officer and a couple passersby bravely put their lives on the line to pull a driver from the wreckage of a crash June 30 on North Delaware Avenue. The driver was trapped for a short time inside the car, which was on fire after crashing head-on into the rear of a trash truck.
