Tug Boat Operator Expected to Testify in Duck Boat Trial

Matthew Devlin’s video testimony is expected to be played in court today — day two of the wrongful death trial in the July 2010 duck boat crash. Devlin was sentenced to 366 days in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Devlin was on his cell phone dealing with a family emergency when the barge he was steering ran over the stalled duck boat, killing two Hungarian students.
