State police are investigating a car fire that closed a stretch of road in northeastern Pennsylvania as a possible mobile meth lab.
Kingston Township police Chief Jim Balavage said the fire broke out inside the moving car at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Balavage said a man and woman were trapped inside when a passerby helped free them. All three were taken to a hospital with what appeared to be chemical burns.
The state police Clandestine Lab Response Team was summoned from Harrisburg because police said there was a concern about the safety of emergency responders.
