Store Owner Shot Multiple Times While Sitting Outside

The victim was hit in the arms, legs and torso.

Police are looking for a gunman they say walked up to a Germantown business owner and opened fire.

The shooting happened around 11:30 Wednesday night outside of the victim's store on the 4600 block of Germantown Ave.

The 46-year-old victim was sitting in a chair outside of Pop's Dollar Store when a man walked up and shot him at point blank range at least nine times, according to investigators.

Police tell NBC10 the victim was hit in both arms, both legs and his torso.

He was rushed to Einstein Hospital where he underwent surgery and is in crictical, but stable condition.

Police describe the suspect as a male, 5'10" with a long beard. They say he was wearing all black. He was last seen driving a red minivan.

The store was open at the time of the shooting. Police do not believe robbery was a motive.
