Contractor Pleads Guilty in FBI Investigation Into Powerful Union

George Peltz, an electrical contractor from South Jersey, pleaded guilty to a list of charges, related to making unlawful payments to a Philadelphia union official. He admitted in court on Monday that he did $57,000 worth of work at a IBEW Local 98 officer’s home and office for free. The officer wasn’t named.
