Philly Mom of Slain Man Dedicates Life to Seeking Peace

A former correctional captain in Philadelphia’s Department of Prisons lost her 19-year-old son to gun violence last year. Now she’s dedicating her life to helping to stop the rising violence in the city so that other parents won’t feel her pain. She speaks with NBC10’s Rosemary Connors. Her story is part of “Seeking Peace,” our new series focused on those who are impacted by and trying to find a solution to the violence in the city.
