Ram on the lam! After roaming free for two days, a runaway ram was apprehended by police in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. NBC10’s Siobhan McGirl spoke with the workers who finally caught him.

A ram that was on the run in New Jersey was safely captured Friday morning, police said.

The Mount Laurel Police Department initially took to social media on Thursday evening to let the public know about this baa-d actor.

Friday morning, Mount Laurel Division of Public Works and Mount Laurel police officers safely captured the ram in the backyard of a home on Horseshoe Drive. NBC10 obtained both cellphone and body cam videos of the chase and capture.

"After a fairly extensive foot pursuit the Ram was reunited with his owner in Mount Laurel," a police spokesperson wrote.

Police thanked the community in helping them capture the elusive ram.
