Pope John Paul II Visits St. Charles Borromeo Seminary

During his brief trip to Philadelphia in 1979, Pope John Paul II visited St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. When he arrived, he was greeted by more than 150 seminarians who were chanting and stomping their feet. St. Charles Karol Borromeo was the Patron Saint of Pope John Paul II.
