Man Beaten to Death After Allegedly Stealing Car Had Long Criminal History

Eric Hood, identified as the man who allegedly stole a car with children in it and was subsequently beaten to death by an angry mob, had a long criminal history, Philadelphia police said. Officials are still trying to figure out exactly what happened during the incident Thursday night.
