Authorities are trying to determine what caused a barn fire in New Jersey in which a number of animals died.
Firefighters had to drive through snow and slush to reach the scene in Manchester Township Thursday.
Police Capt. Todd Malland tells the Asbury Park Press a horse escaped from the barn. But Malland says at least three dogs, two goats and an undetermined number of cats and chickens perished.
