Fairmount Park's Cherry Blossoms might lose a few petals before the annual festival this year

Around 30,000 visitors plan to make it out to Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center’s Cherry Blossom Festival. Unfortunately, due to the festival falling at the very end of the blooms, it’s not certain if the trees will maintain their full blossom. Heavy rain and wind gusts could make a huge difference on whether people will be looking up or down at the blooms. NBC10’s Tim Furlong has more on the story.
