One person is dead after a car struck him in Galloway Township, N.J.
A man is dead after a car hit him as he was crossing an Atlantic County road early Wednesday morning.
A 2004 Nissan Sentra was traveling northbound on Leipzig Avenue near Herschel Street in Galloway Township around 1:30 a.m. when it struck and killed 33-year-old Eric Eller of Galloway, according to police.
Authorities say the driver remained at the accident scene and an investigation is underway.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
