DNA results link Pennypack Trail slasher to 2003 Fairmount Park rape and murder

The man police believe is behind the recent knife attacks along Pennypack Trail is now being charged in the murder and rape of a medical student 20 years ago. Investigators say DNA results linked Elias Diaz to the 2003 crime in Fairmount Park. NBC10’s Frances Wang spoke to the genealogists who helped with the case on how new technology is giving police more accurate leads.
