Child Killed and Infant Wounded in Weekend Shootings

Two children were shot, and one died, in two separate shootings in Philadelphia over the weekend. A 2-year-old was shot and killed while at home with her mother and a repairman, who were also injured when an unkown gunman fired shots into the house. An 11-month-old was shot in a car Saturday night. The shootings prompted swift response about violence from many, including Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.
