2 State Troopers Hurt in I-76 Crash

Two State Troopers are recovering after a multi-vehicle car crash on I-76.

Police say five vehicles were involved in a crash on I-76 westbound on Montgomery Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday. I-76 was closed at Montgomery Ave as crews cleared the scene. It reopened at 3:30 a.m., closed again at 5 a.m. and then reopened once more at 5:10 a.m.

Two state troopers were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where they were treated for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
