Intel reduces its projection for quarterly revenue again

SAN FRANCISCO - Intel Corp. said yesterday that it would miss its already reduced revenue projection by about $500 million, a sign that makers and buyers of personal computers are being more tightfisted than it seemed only two months ago, when the company lowered its financial projection.
